  • ~100gr of 3ply, 50% Cotton/ 50% Acrylic yarn or less if you want to make it shorter.
  • 3.00mm (5/O) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Gauge and Measurements

  • Finished square 10cm x 10cm.
  • Cowl is approximately 68cm (27 inch) in diameter and 33cm (13 inch) wide. If you want to make it bigger just add more chains in the beginning but remember the total number of loops should be divisible by four.

  • SLST – slip stitch
  • ST – stitch

Crochet Cowl pattern

Starting the cowl

  • To start this cowl, you need to chain 200.
  • Join stitches into a ring with SLST.
  • Check that your foundation chain didn’t twist.
  • For easy count you can mark every 10th chain.

  • Ch1.
  • Crochet HDC in the same ST. Make HDC in every ST till the end of this round.
  • Join with SLST into Ch1.

Rounds 2 & 3

Finishing up crochet cowl

  • You need to repeat R1 till R12 for as many times as you like. I crocheted it 7 times.
